team name

24 Sore Soles for a team name. What do you think???

Checking In

Rob ran 4 miles this week. He has a good excuse though (dr.'s note)!

I had a lackluster running week. I only racked up 17 miles and did a fair amount of cross-training. I am hoping to feel better this week with my antibiotic. I want it to be warmer for the half marathon and NO SNOW!!!

Rob has no opinion for a team name and I am hoping to have a creative thought this week!

Tammy Harris

Hello! My total miles for last week is 22. I woke up sick yesterday morning and didn't get to my long run. My running schedule is a little off, but I'm still getting my miles in. :) Good job to everyone else on your running!

P.S. I'm still trying to come up with a team name idea! (Got running is cute, I like it!)

Justin & Shauna

Justin ran 6 times this week, 4.3 miles that is a grand total of.....25.8 miles.

Shauna ran 2 times this week, 4.3 miles and that is a whopping 8.6 miles.

We had a few colds and stomach sickness at our house this week so the runs were a little rougher than usual but all in all a normal running week for us!

....Oh yeah my idea for a team name is Got Running.....you know like got milk??? Okay maybe it's a little lame but that's all I could come up with!! Justin has decided since he picked last year he will not be submitting one this year!!

Buffalo Run

Hi there!
This is an update of our race yesterday! It was a beautiful day for a run! Bruce did the 50 miler and I did the 25k! That was my first trail race and I learned ALOT-
#1 Just because I love running fast downhill does NOT mean you can do that on a steep rocky path meant for mountain goats! I flew in the air (only once) and landed on my right thigh--it is sore but not bruised-surprisingly.
#2 Even when you are tired you have to pick your feet up or your toes will get stubbed
#3 This was great training for ragnar--Rob's hill will be easy!
#4I learned that if I ever want to evade the law--I will be well hidden on that mountain as long as I can out run the guys chasing me!

I finished in 3:18 and 9th out of 21 in my age group--so for my 1st one I was pretty happy with that! So with the other miles this week--I got a total of 31!

Bruce ran the 50 miler and it was a tough day. He was prepared for a marathon but not prepared for a fifty. He was surprised that a person could keep going even if they are exhausted, as long as they don't go too hard. He learned that because when he would start running after mile 35 he would get light headed and nauseus, and when he slowed down he was fine. But he finished in 11:58 and finishing that thing at all was a GREAT accomplishment! He said it was tougher than the OV 50 we ran last year. He did a total of 68 miles this week!

Happy running!
